Trip Details

Today we depart our El Paso Airport to connect with our overnight flight to Rome aboard a wide-bodied jet. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner, and breakfast aloft.
This morning, we arrive in Rome where we are met by our Unitours Tour Manager and driver as we board our motorcoach. Following lunch on our own, we have time to rest, settle into our hotel, or explore the sites close to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Following breakfast, we make our way to the Vatican, and if possible, attend the weekly audience with Pope Francis in the Audience Hall. Later, we take a tour of the Scavi, also known as the Necropolis (city of the dead) that is beneath a small portion of Vatican City, and where we find the tomb of St. Peter. We return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
This morning, we drive to Assisi. Arriving, we celebrate Mass at the beautiful Basilica of St Francis. Later we enjoy a guided tour of the Basilica and visit the tomb of St. Francis. Following lunch on our own, we visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, soon to be the first millennial saint. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
After breakfast, we enjoy a walking tour of the village before stopping at the Church of St. Clare to view the crucifix that spoke to St. Frances. We celebrate Mass here. We pass by the famous Temple of Minerva in the Piazza del Comune. The rest of the day is free for shopping, exploring on your own, or a return to the Basilica for personal prayers or meditation before dinner and overnight at our hotel.
This morning we start our journey back to Rome. Arriving in Rome, we walk through the Holy Doors of Saint John Lateran and celebrate Mass here. Following lunch on our own, we tour the iconic Colosseum. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Today, we celebrate Mass at Saint Peter’s and Pope Francis Angelus Prayer and Address. The remainder of the day is leisure time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Today we pass through the Holy Doors of St. Paul Outside-the Walls and celebrate Mass here. Following lunch on your own, we return to Vatican City and visit the Vatican Museum and enter the Sistine Chapel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
This morning we pass through the Holy Doors of St. Mary Major where we also celebrate Mass. In the afternoon we visit one of the Catacombs (maybe St. Calixtus), burial site of early Christians. Returning to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
This morning, we make our way home with memories of a lifetime. Arriving Christmas Eve. Just in time for Christmas Day!
