0922EI5 - Medjugorje Holy Year Pilgrimage 7 days from New York, JFK

We depart from JFK for our connecting flight to Dubrovnik. We enjoy in-flight movies, dinner, and breakfast while aloft.

Today, we arrive and are greeted by our Unitours Tour Manager as we board our motorcoach for Medjugorje. We enjoy lunch on our own along our drive to Medjugorje, where we arrive in the afternoon in time for dinner and overnight at our hotel.

This morning, we visit the famous Church of St. James, where we join with other English-speaking pilgrims to celebrate Mass and enjoy an introduction to the Shrine of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. Depending upon the schedule, our full-time local guide will introduce us to one of the Medjugorje Visionaries, who will share a talk with us. We break for lunch on our own before we make our way through the vineyards to Apparition Hill, locally known as “Podbrdo,” praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary as we make our way upward. It was here that Our Blessed Mother first appeared to the children. Following our tie there, we return to the village. We enjoy dinner and overnight at our guest house.

Today, following Mass at the Church of St. James, we travel to nearby Mostar, an Ottoman Empire gateway for centuries. While in Mostar, we visit the Ss. Peter and Paul Monastery and enjoy the breathtaking views from the tallest bell tower around! We enjoy a break for lunch on our own before returning to Medjugorje, with the remainder of the afternoon at leisure for prayer and reflection. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

This morning, we await Mother Mary’s apparition to Mirjana. Depending on when that occurs, we break for lunch on our own and enjoy the remainder of our day in prayer. We then depart for Dubrovnik and arrive later in the afternoon in time for hotel check-in and dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Today, following breakfast, our day a free day to relax, pray or join Fr. Gil as he takes a group on their own around Dubrovnik for the day. The group will reconnect in the evening for our “farewell” dinner. Overnight at our hotel.

This morning, we transfer to the airport for our return flight home with memories that will last a lifetime! and best-preserved Roman palace in the world. We enjoy lunch on our own at one of the many nice restaurants in the old town before continuing to Medjugorje, where we arrive this afternoon in time for dinner and overnight at our hotel.
